Vaishnavi Rednam, the visionary founder of Ocean Precious, has been passionate about protecting the environment and inspiring others to do the same since a young age. In 2020, she turned her commitment to ocean conservation into action by creating Ocean Precious, a nonprofit dedicated to reducing ocean pollution and fostering sustainability.

When Vaishnavi witnessed the growing issue of marine pollution during trips to the beach and through global environmental news, she realized that small, everyday actions could create a ripple effect for change. Determined to make a difference, she launched Ocean Precious to engage communities, educate future generations, and advocate for policies to protect our oceans.

Under her leadership, Ocean Precious has achieved remarkable milestones, including organizing large-scale beach clean-ups, educating over 500 students about sustainability, and launching impactful initiatives such as Operation Ocean and the Sunshine Basket Program. Vaishnavi also worked with local mayors to advocate for recycling policies and successfully established Ocean Pollution Awareness Week in Lakeland, Florida.

A passionate advocate for empowering others, Vaishnavi believes in creating opportunities for individuals to take action. Her efforts have led to the expansion of Ocean Precious, with plans to establish 27 chapters statewide.
